The only betrayal I could see is if he didn't bring the troops home as he promised. The millions of people whom voted for him to do just that That's Betrayal!!!

Naaaah not betrayal just Irish being sour grapes.

I mean seriously how could anyone, short of being a warmonger or having large sums of stock in mfgs of military equipment, not be for ending war/conflicts and getting our troops home safe and sound.

The hell of it is, I'm thinkin the hate and discontent on this board ain't so much about Trump as it is toward those, who post in favor of Trump.

Welp anyway, an agreement has been reached with both the Turks and Kurds said to be in agreement so as they say in the old country..... Time will tell.

BTW has congress taken any action to return US troops to Syria if they're so darned concerned?

Geez if ya wanna talk betrayal, let's talk Pelosi, Schumer, Schiff, Ryan, Swalwel and the other mealy mouthed congress people sitting around picking their asz. Now there's betrayal for younz.

Ask the troops if its a betrayal?? Have u ever been a troop? in a far away place that noone back home cares about Believe me the the troops not the generals and leaders want outa there as quickly as possible. Their opinion is the only one that counts!!!!!.Stop at Bethesda Naval medical hospital or Walter Reed or brooke Army medical and ask the young men there is Syria, afganistan, or Iraq  worth it. I know the answer!!

I’m not presuming I know what’s in hearts of professional warriors. If I would hazard a guess, I’m thinking that it wouldn’t include abandoning my allies and turning tail, allowing my sworn enemy to make new gains. Other than that, my previous commentary is based on reliable sources.

I don’t understand your reference to “sour grapes.” Do you presume I’m embittered because of Dear Leader’s glorious triumph in Syria? If so, that’s funny. As I see it, the man is making an absolute fool of himself and losing support in the process. I’m not against that! I understand that his anarchical bomb-throwing ways thrills his supporters, but, you know, it’s one thing to thumb your nose at Canada or howl endlessly about Hillary’s emails and quite another to potentially facilitate future terrorist attacks in the name of promises kept. His act is thin, and, hopefully will come to an end soon.

No Irish, not because of Mr. Trumps triumph in Syria.

Because of Mr. Trumps success in "America".

I must admit it to be very confusing trying to understand people such as yourself, not being able to see the results.

So I gotta think, it's not Trump's success that has you upset as much as it is, you can not accept the success of others on this board, being correct.

Your rebuttals are same ole same ole, just another Trump-thumper.

In advance I base the name "Trump-thumper" from your comments. Though at times, I do wonder, maybe you just like to stir the pot and you're laughing all the way to the lanes.

Your "bring the troops home" mantra is good, until reality butts its ugly head and you realize we have troops and military assets spread like matchsticks throughout the ME and none of them are really coming home.  It's not a point of agreement or disagreement.  I think we would all like troops in harm's way to come home.  The reality is that they are not.  If we want to continue to live the lifestyle we have carved out as Americans, young blood will spill and our coffers will foot the bill.  I'm not saying it's right.

Which successes are you referring to? The border wall, the infrastructure programs or the new, improved health care system? I’m sure many will blame the Dems for these Presidential Failures (remind me to copy write that) but, really, how could they be responsible for stopping the most powerful and effective Pres of all time?

No doubt I say black you say white, that's been your nature all along but could you please come up with better facts to support your rebutals. Please?? no make that 'pretty please'.

Irish, again neighbor you are sounding like a broken record just repeating the song of others (won't mention names) in trying to defend yourself.

In Syria we're now gonna have an overrun by terrorist and yet, we shouldn't have a more secure southern boader here in the US?

Now the Russians are gonna take over Syria but we shouldn't stop the likes of socialism from taking over America not that AOC, Sanders, Omar, or Tlaib could ever be "the foot in the door" on that front.

How about stopping the Chinese from taking over Americas economy not that the current NBA situation wouldn't be any proof of that ever occuring.

How about our own congress, (not just the presidentl getting something done for the American people and stop worrying about the moochers wanting to come to America for free handouts?

Congress has done nothing but scream impeachment and look at the time they wasted. Icm thinkin our congress has no desire to keep America Great.

Ya see where I'm going here?

Old news neighbor, this story was discussed during the "live" press conference held earlier today.

You know "live" as in the actual briefing and not some reporters, half asz conception on paper?

Besides, what better way to pull the media away from Diazepine Pelosi and Chucky Tiny Tears.

WHAT..... Wait, no "Climate Change" on the agenda..... Ohhhhh "45" how could you?

This is not an insignificant story nor has it been discussed on this forum, thus, you may thank me for my public service in providing a couple of salient reference points.

No doubt a FOIA request will be made for the records regarding this procurement. I’d be interested in how they might demonstrate that Doral was superior to all other offerors, that is, if there were any other offerors. This is not just an apparent conflict of interest. This is an actual conflict and is illegal under federal procurement rules. Nothing about, you know, an “actual briefing” has any bearing on this fact. I do think, BTDT, that you are correct about pulling the media away to another issue. That strategy has been used by King Donald so often that I think the msm is actually beginning to catch on!

My prediction: the 2020 G-7 conference will not be held at Doral or any other Trump property (except maybe at his dacha). It will be yet another example of Presidential Harassment and victimizing that 45 can claim.

OK thank you Irish for your public service butt, the story broke during the White House press briefing where questions and answers were live. So me being skeptical of what some biased reporter writes is understandable on my part, yes?

OK, so I think my secrete will be safe discussing it with you here on this board cause barely anybody reads my post, yes.😉😉

So my thinking when the venue was announced... WTH is wrong with Trump... he's gone nuts??? Butt then I came to my senses, Trump is "crazy crazy like a fox" 🙁 and there's always been "a method to his madness".

Butt what the hell he's up to with this most recent move.... I have no idea annnnnd I'm all eyes and ears waiting to find out.😊

Back to the press conference, would it surprise anyone to learn that the media's main attention focused on the summit location?

In other news, can you believe the size of the crowd "outside" the venue where Trump is speaking in Dallas tonight???

Its job security for them no war no need for too many generals. No war no money for big war hardware companys. The leaders love to send young people to war so they don't have to go.Any leaders sons or daughters killed or maimed lately in Iraq, afganistan or Syria???? Not many if any!!!Give the man some credit He really does want to end these mindless wars.Hes one of the few who do!!!

Re: Trump... 2019/10/18 11:59:42 (permalink)
And Trump is now wearing his spurs on the battlefield.

This POTUS gives up a private life, only dreams are made of, to fight the enemies of the US.

The difference with Trump, he ain't tucking tail and surrending to the pressures of the rogue press operating and hiding behind the US Constitution.

The difference with Trump he ain't tucking tail and surrending to the money controling the rogue press, hiding behind the US Constitution.

The difference with Trump he wants to stop using American lives to police the world.

The difference between leaders like Trump
and Mattis are the weapons used to fight the enemy of the US. Trump 'first', uses pen & pencil while the war mongers, use bombs and missles

How was it said.... "The pen is mightier than the sword" (English author Edward Bulwer-Lytton in 1839, )

The difference with Trump, he knows the true enemy of the US and "faces" them everyday. Unlike the warmongers, using the son's and daughter's of America to fight a boogeyman war.

The difference with Trump, he knows the hiding places of the US enemy and he ain't afraid to go upon the battlefield and flush them out.

The problem with Trump, he is the "Commander-In-Chief and Generals like Mattis forget (or dislike) who they report to.

The problem with Trump, he just proved "The Pen Is Mightier Than The Sword" and when the POTUS is successful it piszes his enemies off.

.............................. END RANT ..........................

In other news.... What the hell is wrong with Mulvaney playing "gotcha games"?

Goof ball fell right into the media no.1 trap😣.

Mick gonna be regrettin that stupid mistake.

😳Or maybe..... just maybe🙈 done on purpose?

When ya think it through by saying the Russians are helping Gabbard and the other candidate she is really saying that the Russians are still helping Trump win.
The only real winners in all this BS are the Russians.
They gotta be sitting around laughing their butts off at how gullible and dopy we are to buy this BS.
Hildabeast seems still trying to justify her loss.
Remember it was Hillary who came up with the whole Russian / Trump thing and look where that went for 2 miserable years.

Hillary practices what she preaches as do the Bidens.

Does it not seem strange Hitlary campaigned very little as compared to the POTUS yet she was ready to celebrate victory, well before the end results of the election?   Leads me to think the Clintons believed they 'had the cat in the bag' thanks to help from Russia.  But WAIT.....  Hitlary won the "popular" vote so there is that and thank goodness, Obama put a stop to the Russians medaling in the US elections so we know there was no "voter fraud" so,  there is that.

On the other hand, I'm thinkin, Obama's administration was disappointed in Hitlary's choice of support as her campaign lacked the label "Made In China" in turn, threatening Barry's retirement.

Speaking of retirement plans, anybody hear how the Mark Cuban/ Barry Obama basketball program is doing in Africa?  Is that still moving forward and is sportswear sold there labeled...…. "Made In China"?

Then along comes "Uncle Joe", you know, "you don't have to do this Joe" past VP of the Obama administration. Yes, "Uncle Joe" is the one and same Barry chooses to drag his feet endorsing but runs right out and promotes the Canadian Prime Minister.   Wait.... what?   I thought Barry was to oversee Mark Cubans basketball program in Africa so wassup in Canada?  Oh yeah Hockey sportswear... silly me.

"Uncle Joe" might well have heeded his former's bosses warning errrrr, request?   I mean look at this thingy building in Ukrain.  Hunter Biden's retirement plans are in the toilet and now we have yet another politician appearing as one who "practice's what he preaches".   Keep this under your hat but I heard this from a reliable un-reliable source wishing to remain anonymous..... shhhhh,   Adam Schiff received donations from...….. nahhh it wouldn't be true Schiff has strong ties to a prominent Ukrainian arms-dealer, Igor Pasternak, would it?

Just putting out some food for thought folks.....  and I'm sticking to it.

Re: Trump... 2019/10/19 11:29:31 (permalink)
Generally when a new President takes office he has 2 or 3 Federal judgeships to appoint- and those are the very late vacancies the 'lame duck' couldn't fit in.
They were sooo very sure of Hildabeasts victory that when Trump took office he had 142 vacancies to fill- which he promptly did -with conservatives.
He is now up to 146.
That has never happened before  in US history.
Not to mention the 1 Supreme Court vacancy that was still outstanding as he took office.
Now he has made 2.
This represents a very lasting conservative outlook by so many Courts that the 'new' socialists in the Dem party are horrified.
Even more horrific to them is wondering how many more he will appoint in the next 5 years-
A true lasting impact well beyond his terms.
THAT IMHO is the real reason they hate him so much and will do anything to get rid of him.

Featuring Hillary Clinton stories on the news proves that the msm doesn’t have a Democratic bias. Reason being is that the sight of her makes otherwise sane people want to scream and vote for Donald Trump. She needs to disappear for the next year.

Irish I know you're right.

I was never a Trump fan and I watched none of his TV shows. I know the guy doesn't "walk on water" and I doubt the man is "Mr Goody Two Shoes" (heard that saying when I was a kid.... just a few years ago)

Honestly when the man "tossed his hat in the ring" I thought..... errr, I best not use that type of language, there's truck drivers on here.

Anyways not having control over, but wanting to see, the GOP debates I had to hear the guy and I'm glad I did.

The campaign phrase catching my ear... "Drain The Swamp".

A person need not be totally sane to see where this country was being directed but one would need be totally insane 'not' to see who was at the helm.

Let's let the next few months playout and see what is what and, who is who.

The Biden's.... small fish in the world of scams.

Obama, more concerned he has to eat crow and watch helpless as Trump destroys the Barry legacy. So now we have China deals being looked into (thanks Uncle Joe) and what before our eyes should appear but the NBA..... dam there goes the Barry retirement plan. Dash away... dash away to Canada younz all.

Clintons ain't going away anytime soon and rest assured the GOP wouldn't allow that to happen.

Hitlary I'm thinking is about to become the main plug, to draining the swamp.

Stay tuned....

P.S. If I'm wrong I shall eat my portion of crow and no, it does not taste like chicken.

P.P.S. It ain't Hitlary the Dems fear..... so I don't know why they just don't say..... Shut the hell up.... Joe!!!
