Erie, Ohio or NY?

With no intention in starting a p****** contest as an avid fisherman reaching out to other more seasoned guys. I would like to broaden my fishing horizon just out of pure fun and enjoyment ..being an Erie trib fisherman what way should I go.. Ohio or New York, im interested in the scenery and access to fishable areas.. in other words if you were going to fish for steelies and browns somewhere other than PA where would you go? I'm talking personal experience not statitistics and such because I have read all them. Thanks in advance

I SECOND THAT.......I LIKE LATE NOV.- DEC..... expect company till you learn a few areas off the beaten path. Some trophy size Steel can be had too but expect most to be average size like those in Erie.

Do a search of the salmon river board. It's been discussed over there before.

NY has some different regulations on rigs you can & can't use than PA does.  Know what those are before you go.
