    I have the exact same motor only 2007 model and short shaft.  It is sweet runner, and very very fuel efficent.  I run the allegheny river with it and its almost 5 miles to the dam where I walleye fish one way and do it in a round trip on 1.5 gallons of fuel.  Good Buy for 1695!!
