I'm sitting in a deer blind watching a monsoon at the present time. So, lucky for you, I'm on my phone and can't access the Emojis.

You know the ones with a single FINGER extended in the air.

Now go away; I have a pointy stick on a sling type of apparatus, I wish to impale a white-tail with. A/K/A, harvesting a deer.

Stupid deer.

Came very close to sealing the deal Thursday evening on a really good looking 8.  He followed a doe step for step for the last 30 minutes of light, but of course the only place he wouldn't follow her was into one of my shooting lanes  Wind stayed out of the south this afternoon and I went back with hopes he'd be back and had no such luck.
 
I'll be back at it tomorrow.  Weather is looking to be much better and I'm hoping deer will be on their feet.

Jumped one on the way in this morning, then had one right under the stand for a few minutes at 5:50. 2 doe with a small 6pt right on their heels just after 7. Nothing after that. Taking a break till about 1, then back at it. Hope the big boys are moving this afternoon.

Way to go guys! Could you'll maybe find sometime now that you have your bucks to help out a ROOKIE buddy of mine. He really needs help! In more ways than one................... He doesn't have a big salt shaker to salt the tail. He said he's using some kind of stick..........dummy!!

finally I figured it out. shot him oct 27. I knew he was there and have lots of trail cam pics from last year and this year. I knew right where he was bedding. just had to be there when he came through. only 16" wide but 5.5" bases.

Congrats to all that scored so far. 
 
Me. Just finished a solid week of all day sits. Passed two small legal bucks up, seen a few sub legals, and saw the same huge 8 point three times so far. The closest he has been was 55 yards and that was today at around 1:00. 
 
Overall, still slow for me, especially for this time of the year. Getting pretty frustrated and worn out after 6 straight all day sits. I plan to do it again next week.

Stayed out until 10 saw nothing ... Checked camera and this guy was on it in middle of the night again ... So maybe not so stupid ...... Lol
