Steelhead in Conneaut

Traveled Conneaut yesterday evening.  The breakwall was busy, seen a few pulled in (one guy used shiners, no sure of the others).  Good sized fish (20-28 in).  Due to the amount of folks there and me not being one of those DICKS that creep up on your elbow to get a line in.......I went searching the creek.  Old Main had some beasts holding tight to cover, Center St. had a few holding as well.  Tried a bit at Woodworth Rd (seen a few break the surface).  All seemed to have lockjaw.  Verdict........canoe, yak, or boat is best until the creek comes up.

    Thanks for the heads up, we have trolled the wall a few times ourselves but haven't yet this year and forecast not looking very promising for boats the next few days but it should be great for stream fisherman with the rains ... hope you get a chance to find them!
