FINALLY SOME DEER ====

At 8:30pm I walked out onto the porch and spotted 5 deer in our 2 acre pasture. I really have not made much of an attempt at spotting deer yet this year and have not noticed any around, but tonight was the exception. There were 3 small bucks feeding together and 2 does feeding at the other end of the pasture. Two of the bucks were small and looked like maybe they will be spikes or 4 points. The big one seem to have a high rack with just a "glob" at the end of each branch. My camera was in the truck and no way to get to it without the deer seeing me, so no photos.
Hopefully I will see them again. Especially since getting 2 deer this year may be harder for me with no DMAP coupons...

    Note:  Some dummy forgot to reset some data when he changed batteries.  Date/time just don't seem to coincide with temp on this picture.

    This is the first time i put my cameras out early, I placed 3 in late may. Checked them twice so far and will pull them again this weekend. So far the its the most photos i have ever got over 10K photos, not all deer. Have got cats, woodchucks, dogs, fox, fisher, bear, hawks, crows, bucks, doe and fawns.

    Its really cool to watch bucks develop their antlers. It has me thinking to leave my cameras out all year.

    Yes leaving the cameras out all year can produce some really interesting pictures. Like, whose that dutchman and why is he cutting across my backfield at 6:00 am on a Feb. morning? Or, I wonder whose cow is in my back yard, feasting on my grass at 2:00 am?. How about some geese, could ya use some geese? Doc. don't want em! (lol) Free shipping, overnight airmail.

    Don't be shy, get those pictures posted.
