New bait store on the East Side

Just to give everyone an update. In August of 2007 I opened East End Angler, located 1/2 mile east of 4 mile creek and 5 miles west of Shades Beach on East Lake Rd. Located at 4702 East Lake Rd. 814-898-FISH(3474)

Just starting out here and getting new stuff every week. We have a full line of live bait including emerald shiners. Currently working an another tank to keep the emeralds & golden shiners in seperate tanks for the inland fishermen.

I'm no fan of minnows, but to try and tie the smell of a neighborhood to a bait shop is ridiculous. Bait shops occur in all kinds of neighborhoods. It might BE from this bait shop, but it could have been the result of something else entirely. An odor that could occur in ANY neighborhood.

Actually, I did stop in there on Saturday morning and talked with the owner for a little.  Even did some "cat fishing" in the store.  Nice guy and he had some SWEET spoons that he made up for steelies/eyes...I'll probably buy a few next time I'm out that way.

    a couple things/observations:

as far as stenches, bac always seems to reek.  like there is a cow in the back defecating 24 hours a day into the fishgut pile from cleaning fish.  id say those 2 mixed together sounds about right.

this place Partners....noticed it before, but im not too sure about going to any gentlemen's club called "Partners."  i've never associated that word with women dancing.  maybe a name change is in order.

"Partners" has been there in the area for 40yrs now( original burned down about 20yrs ago), it is one of the safest titty bars you will go to. The name comes from the owners Sam(died 30yrs ago) and George who were partners.I think Sam was an old time Burly Q comedian. I bought a seat there way back when, havent been there in a long long time though, last time I was there it was BYOB

splitshot, any one who has read threads can only expect, in some cases, the post will be "modified" so to say. i don't think captnkirk business has been hurt do to our Interjections. no one has Condommed his shop in a bad way. in fact i'm glad he posted because now i know where to get re-baited when i'm fish'n if i happen to be on the Utter side of the tracks. also he gets more Exposure everytime there's a reply, because this post goes to the top and doesn't stay  Topless very long.
Captkirk, good luck and hope your Bustness is one to succeed, i truely mean it.
any hard Feelings let me know and i will apologies. and have a nice day.

sixteen mile cant support more than like 5-10 people per hole, so you post it where hundreds of people can read it,  that are desperate to make trips to erie, to catch steel, and so you can sell a dozen shiners to everyone who walks through the door....i would rethink your sales methods

Not out to burn any bridge's here. Just a guy with a dream and a passion to fish and help others. What we should be more concerned about is the Tire plant and how that will kill our fishing paradise if it is not stopped.

Pulling stunts like the one you pulled may help a few and perhaps you will sell an extra two dozen minnow, but you will pi$$ off more people than you can imagine.  Whether you like to admit it or not, these are the kinds of posts that will lead to the deterioration of any fishery and has no place on this or any other board.

His report doesn't exactly give any information (as far as accessibility) that can't be found on the angler maps provided by this site. So cut the guy a little slack.
