It's a beautiful day in Pennsylvania; awfully quiet too. Fellas all must be out fishing.

Sure hope we read some success stories and see some good pictures.

And yinz dang sure will if I catch some stupid fish.

Tight lines🍻

Steve did ya ever notice, when ya tell the better half you will get to a her project next week, how fast "next week" gets here? And, the weather is always better than it was the past week? Stupid weather!!!

For reasons unknown to me, I decided to try out a turbo-nozzle with my power washer and
blast a spot on my detached garage. Not a good idea.... oops! As soon as I'm finished the other 3 walls, I can try out the new gun on my paint sprayer!

IceNut thank you so very much for your report. Takes the sting out of, me doing stupid stuff like, washing and painting a garage.

The weather tonight sure has me wishin I was fishin but right now, that hurts just thinking about it.

the water is cold...really cold.  and tastes terrible.  after wading for close to 40 years and never getting wet, i took the plunge tonight.  lol.

Do you need a cane grey hair?
It looked like it would've been a perfect evening. Unfortunately I have too much on my plate with the new homestead to get out yet and I have to find the box my waders are in. Hopefully by the end of the week I'll have the boat ready.

one thing i'll change is that i'll start wearing a wading belt instead of leaving it in my gear bag as i've done forever.  i don't believe i've ever worn it, not even on streams while steelhead fishing.

My reports are always at least two days after the fact, but the waders were out on Saturday night just south of the Orchard Launch. Counted 8 people there at Sunset, probably more there after dark. Didn't see anyone catching anything when I was there at sunset. My bed was calling me so I didn't join them.  Did get my dock and new lift in the water with the help of 3 friends. All it cost me was feeding them 3 meals. Didn't get the pontoon put in as my better half suggested I not rush things, and I took her advice. She's usually right. Pontoon will go in on the 22nd.

Lol :)

Took a break from trying to catch the illusive pymy eye today and went to conneaut lake. Got the pizz beat out of me by the wind for a handful of fish. My dad's out wading this evening, so I'm waiting for the report from him. Hopefully it's better than it has been. I'll be out later this week.

Don't give up yet thunderpole, something has to break loose soon. Always look forward to seeing your reports.

Good luck everyone!

By the way, had my fishing buddy out last week. She thinks the walleye fishing this year sucks so far too.

Great pic!  I have a lab also, but she's ruined alot of fishing trips for me.  Once she jumped out of the boat to chase a bobber, she came back to the boat and gobbled down a rapala hanging from the rod holder.  I fought that hook so she didn't get hooked for a good 30 secs.  She's turning 7 this may.  #handfull

Im heading up next weekend, haven't fished Pymatuning in 25 years. Doesn't sound like it's as good as it used to be.  Should the walleye be out on the shallow flats?

I use this map to find flats off of points, main humps, and creek beds.  Not all walleye travel to the spillway to spawn.  A large majority due tho.  They will be in a post-spawn pattern.  You find baitfish (limited supply) you will find walleye.  https://webapp.navionics....3&key=exn%7CF~efjN
