WHAT A FRIGGEN $#it show

Now I know why I fish in the zones. At least people there are somewhat courteous and stealth snag.
These a holes were shin deep ripping away above me.  Took out quite a few steel and countless kings. One steel was in the high teens easily. Not even pretending to fish. Started out as 5 guys when I left it was closer to 15. Lots of fish moving  so they were busy.  They did not like where I was because it was fast water and you could not see bottom
I managed a few hook ups because I was below them. No cell service, when I got to the car I called and told them exactly where they were and it was a 10 minute walk, even offered to stay  in the lot a wait and walk them back. Said that was not necessary and they would look into it.

That is not the worse thing I saw today...............

I did manage one fish today, up river was pretty slow.  The newest run is mid river and should be in Altman tomorrow.  Outside the Zones where I went today I did not see 1 friggen person even trying to fish today.  There are way more steel in the river than normal for this time of year and I hope they do not get slaughtered this weekend.  It seemed every stringer had one OR TWO steel on it.

I am pretty sure what that fish is. Wanting some confirmation though.

Google 'Sand Tiger Shark' or 'Gray Nurse Shark'. You may even find something on YouTube.

Kinda sorta thought that, but it did not make sense.  Sturgeon was first thought, but I did not think so. State just stocked sturgeon a few month ago in a few places on Lake Ontario and I remembered reading that.

Should be fine there. Those runs in town, get strung out and spread out the higher you get.  I was fishing below  there as saw plenty of fish moving. I forgot to mention that they were also still running in town too.  I think there will fish moving throughout tomorrow.

The sturgeon that the state stocks are 9-10" long, it takes them 5-6 years to reach that kind of size.  Someone went fishing at the ocean, got drunk , went home, forgot the fish was in the cooler, drove to Pulaski and left an unwelcome calling card for the locals on the sidewalk.  Time for a $200  non resident Lake Ontario stamp.  That is definitely some kind of shark.

It was about a foot give or take.
Stopped quick in town and watched from the bridge. Saw two or three snag ups in about five minutes.

I take that back dogfish... but I would like to know why somebody would go through such trouble other than to be an A!!.....  I'm an out of stater and I say up the cost of licenses, as its just disrespectful, apparently being a tard like the one who thought that putting a shark in town would be funny...  I can honestly say I'm glad I didn't join in the circus but in two weeks I will be very content....
