    So, is that a coyote in the background or another deer? Looks like coyote to me.

    It turns out to be a coon, there are several photos of it in different positions around those trees watching the deer, probably wants some of the beechnuts laying around those trees

    that's for sure, our barn cat has even made an appearance on that camera !!
    So far since September:
    deer
    coyote
    cats
    raccoon
    turkeys
    red squirrel
    gray squirrel
    chipmunk
    maybe a fisher ?????

    What do you see in the lower right hand corner of this picture? 
    Now check the same picture taken later the same day.
     

     
    Look closely and you will see the same weed appearing, just left center of the subject
