Griffin Montana Mongoose Fly Tying Vise

Does anyone know if this vise is good or not?

I purchased this vice about two weeks ago.  I have tied around 20-30 flies.  For the money I believe it is a great value.  I have used this on size 24 and as large as a 2/0 sprout style hooks, and found the hook holding ability to be very good.  The system comes complete with a carrying case, base, c-clamp, ceramic bobbin and a hackle gage.  It is easy to pack up and move within my house or to travel with. I have not worked with the rotary feature, still getting use to it but with a little practice I am sure it will become a huge benfit.  You could spend a hole lot more money for a top of the line vice, but I set a buget on what I wanted to pay, and this fell in line.  Shop around, I found a large discrepancy in pricing.

I think the rotary feature on a vice is a little over rated. Its nice to flip a hook fast or tie something on the side. True rotary tying has zero benefit in my eyes. If you wanna speed up your production, do like production tiers and learn to never let go of your sissors. I personally cant do it.

Thanks guys I ended up going with this vise. I had bought a Danvise before Christmas and had to get two additional sets of jaws due to the tips bowing out. Poor quality b/c I used it exactly how the instructional DVD instructed. Again, thank you for the knowledge shared b/c I didn't want to get skunked again.
