2/23/14 Salmon river
Well I got my Honey do list done by noon so I went up to the river. Got about 3 hours in. Crowds were not bad top to bottom. I fished at my usual spot with only a few there, I was at the tail and 2 here at the head. The 2 above had pretty consistent hook ups (big surprise). I had 4 hook ups , but could not land any. popped the hook on all but one. That one was a doozy. I was in the backing and WAY down into the fast water before I knew what was going on. It was a screamer. The only hook ups I saw were on our side . All in all the 4 I fought gave me good fights, not on and offs. All 4 were on a small size 12 green sedge fly
