Erie conditions this weekend

Just talked to Folly's, they said it should be good tomorrow and saturday. Sunday's questionable for ice. I'll be up fishing tomorrow and saturday. Will update on the conditions when I get back to see how sunday-monday are looking.

With an overnight of 25 and high of 27 and winds up to 20MPH you might have the streams to yourself. And then again maybe not.........  Dave

The larger streams have done a good job of staying at fishable levels.  In fact with some of the nights in the 20's, they've stayed ice and slush free in the mornings.  By the beginning of next week they should be locked up.  I can say it's been pretty surprising having ice free streams through the middle of January.

Don't really want to go there again but that is one of the stupidist statements I've heard from you & you have been doing quite well in the dumb department. It is evident we are not dealing with the cream of the crop here.

Hmmmm, I find it very funny that SLOWtroller is mocking tippys intelligence, yet he cannot correctly use the proper english language in his own post. First of all "stupidist" is not a word, it is more stupid. Second, if you are going to use a word like that, make sure you spell it correctly....its STUPIDEST

This site is not made for people to criticize other fishermens' posts / ideas. If you still choose to do so, at least do it in a way that dosn't make you sound like you are in the "dumb department."

It's about time, bring on the ice!  I'm ready for some gills and crappies...  Not to mention it's a freakin blast pulling steel through the ice.

I sure hope so, not sure if it's going to stay cold enough, long enough though. At least for me, I'm fat duud, I need twice as much ice as you

Those fish in the creeks need a break from being flogged on anyway.

Be careful driving on Saturday 29* is the high(could be at 12:01 am) but will drop to single digits throughout the day.
    Salt losses effectiveness below 20*.
They call I-79 a skating rink for a reason.........
    Stream temps are @34*
