Delayed Harvest

I have been fishing many of the delayed harvests in the area with varying success. Has anyone tried any of the delayed harvests in the north. I am trying to find a new place to do some fly fishing.

The DH on Neshannock is nice. Might not be fishable this weekend though.

Fished East Hickery creek delayed harvest and got nothing.  It is a nice area to fish.  Just follow Queen Rd and you will see it.  If you want better directions ask and I will post them.

There are MANY relatively low pressure unknown streams that have excellent fishing also.

I have heard a lot of good things about oil creek. I think I will give it a try in a week or two. Do you know how many miles of stream are delayed harvest?

Don't know which one you want since theres two DHALO areas.

Oil Creek – 1.6 miles; from bridge at Petroleum Center down-stream to railroad bridge at Columbia Farm
Oil Creek – 1.0 mile; from the two green posts near the Drake Well Museum downstream to Oil Creek State Park hiking trail bridge

Thanks for the info 2dog. Is the stream easily accessible? It is my opinion that most delayed harvest sections that are easily accessible have a lot of fish poached out of them. The couple of delayed harvests around my house usually are wiped out within a couple of weeks of being stocked. Whats the opinion of everyone else?
