Saw 6 doe. 1 buck, but could not get a look at the rack. 1 coyote. 1 bear. No shots, but for as warm as it was i'll call it a win.

Saw some doe, but never had a shot opportunity at the bigger ones. While I did see some deer, there was something about hunting in 80* weather and thunderstorms that just didn't feel right. Better days are coming for sure.

I saw 2 buck but none were shooters. The one might have been legal. Saw 2 other deer but couldn't tell what they were.
The only thing better than 1 day of fishing is 2 days of fishing.

Well started out with booting some SCHUMK off private property. At 600am. 1/2hr after it got light had a small spike walk under my stand. Evening hunt hit the farm, seen a pile of doe no shot, Saw a big buck that made it threw from last year with only a 60 yard shot. Last night had a big buck come in but in some real think brush with no shot. So pretty good so far considering no shot yet.

I made a huge mistake! Friday I bought a new stabilizer and threw it on my bow. Saturday came around and had a doe at 30 yards needless to say I missed her. She started walking toward me to about 25 yards then to 20 yards missed 2 more times. All the shots were high. I was a mess I didn't know what was going on with me or my bow. So yesterday while I was at work I was thinking about my Saturday hunt and why it went so wrong. Here the stabilizer were two different weights! My bow wasn't dropping when I shot with the new stabilizer as opposed to the old one. That's why I shot high every time. I got home after work Monday and put my old one back on and its dead nuts! Stupid mistake on my part for sure.

Here in Ct the Deer are on nuts for the main course-starting to only come into the neighbors food plot at night-were there most anytime a couple of weeks ago. NOT pressured here just natural movements. Its that changing time of year for them. Not even hitting my backyard apples like they were- hitting them YES -but not cleaning the ground like before -getting a real nice mast crop. GOOD LUCK folks- its THAT time again- yeeeehaaaaa.

Day 3- switched to the bottom stand off the neighbors field. Watched 10 doe go out into the field last half hour of light. Must of been 20 of em out there when I left. Got all the way back up by the barn and kicked 5 out of the pasture, than 5 more off the driveway by my truck. I've never seen this many deer in this area at one time. BH
