    i did that 2 years ago, went clear through....i pulled mine out rather than leave it in....i didn't think it looked that nice

    You'd probably have to pay $50 to have that done at a piercing parlor!  Tough spot for the 50lb loop do it yourself removal method, too.

    That's a foul hook, you must release it!  OUCH!! Once watched a well known salmon river guide hook a passer by on his backcast. Walked up to said passer by asked if that was his fly yanked it out and went back to fishing.
