At last---

Am moving today to the 'new' refurbished house on an acre that has been part of the family Farm for just about 300 years. No farm anymore but am very pleased to be on even that small spot for my eternity. Used to be part of the pasture.
All the electric stuff TV and putor and phones get shut done today and the new services dont start till Monday- gonna go nuts with no putor or tv  for a few days. lol.
Likely have to re register with the new putor down there-thats OK.
Havent been UP for bout 3 weeks or so and likely not gonna be for a bit more- CHOMPIN AT THE BIT to fish. Will be lotsa lawn and leaves to do first- ahhhh responsibilities
All good stuff but in the way of anohter SR adventure---
 Tight lines--be back soon.

My house is part of our old homestead too.   In a field I remember getting hay off as a kid.   Been in the family well over 100 years.   Dad still stays on the farm and we still have a few cows.   It's nice livin' life how you should. Hard work and at least understanding how the great great grandparents lived puts stuff in perspective.

Nice.. We had a homestead here of sorts in my day.. Cows, a mean bull, chickens, a pig & goat or two and many horses.. I think 7horses was the most at 1 time.. Tough but good rewarding work.. I hated cutting/splitting wood when I was young but enjoy and treasure it today..
Now I got kids, grandkids and lots of up keep ... Smaller , simpler would be nice but having neighbors resting peacefully since 1865 and deer chewing my sunflowers ain't so bad..

    See ya soon fellas ..

If I had to revive the family homestead I would have to travel to Newfoundland or Poland. Very rewarding to keep up your family legacy. Congrats, Trevor- enjoy it much.

Thanks Arj, I've got a a great slideshow of my Mt. adventures, but I'll save that for off-season. I'll give you a buzz soon, maybe we'll get some steel time. I thought for sure I'd see lots of good stuff from you and Jack by now.  You've got farming in your blood, Clint, no doubt about that. Got my respect.
