thursday afternoon

Stained about 2000 board feet of 6" t&g beadboard at work by noon and had to get out of there, had rods and wader boots in the truck so my coworker and myself grabbed a cooler threw a 12er of budlight in it and headed to the river in blazing heat to look for sharks in the shade.

First spot produced a hook up for myself but a fast turn and burn caught me off guard and broke me off.

got a smallie and we then headed to spot 2

First carcass this year, picked pretty clean.

second spot was nicer to me.

Nice man,   I gotta get my butt in gear and get up there before the place gets mobbed.

Awesome John!!! Its that time of year.... rod and wading boots have been in the truck for a while now too. Its pretty crazy to think the majority of august has been steady fish... what a great year. We should almost be posting these pics of fishes on the summer adventures thread as there's still a month left of summer...awesome!!!!

I had to work the fields myself this evening. I think Saturday morning is a sure shot though... clint, definitely get your but in gear... its not gonna last

Nice! The second spot is one of my favorite places on the river, great to see it with green banks!

Working every day until two days after Labor Day, debating now on whether it is back country Brookies or slob salmos for 5 days after that! Weather is still fine for camping either way.

Swear I posted this before but I love the release shot.
All I ever get is water glare and maybe a tail or fin showing.
    Polorized filter?

Kodak easyshare c195 total luck, sun was leaving and the rain was a coming so no glare might have helped.
