Good..It very sharp out of the box. Also they are worth the money. When I started using them I didnt have to tune them. They fly like a field point.

1)Muzzys- 100 grain 3 blades  or 4 blade MX's, 2)Magnus Stingers, 30Wasp Boss,  All fly well and hold up through the shot.

Slick Tricks may be the best broadhead out there, but they can be difficult to come by in a pinch (Wasp Boss are in that category also).  On the flip side, I can always find Muzzies and know that they will perform.

If I were to ever use mechanicals again, it would be the Rage hands down.  I have seen what they do to critters and impressive is an understatement.

Razorbacks were popular for a while, and they tried to redesign them and bring them back a few years ago.  the idea didn't work.  The Razorbacks fell by wayside due to design flaws and durability which impacted sales over time.  NAP owned them, and continued with Thunderheads, which continue to perform well.  Other broadheads of note that were poor design that fell off the map were Punchcutters, Anderson Magnums, Almost any Satellite, Pucketts, and Razor Rings to name a few.  Now you got me reminiscing and dating myself...

I agree The NAP spitfires ..... 100 Grain Reusable too . Shot  3 doe with the same one . Disadvantage is price . Last I paid $32 for three but well worth it to me.

Yeah pricey, but i love them. The buck i shot in 07- 08 archery i shot it right thought the front shoulder and it exited the other no problem and all blades where still there little twisted up but hey,,,,that's hunting. I would be lost if N.A.P stopped making such a great head. I shot Thunderheads 100's for years and ever only lost one deer due to a bad shot placement, but you'll have these things. And i harvested alot of deer with thunderheads, no problems but one flew way outta wack. Out come a lost deer!!!!!                                                                          centerpin_drift!

Theres a lot of good heads out there. I've killed my last couple deer with rocket steelhead xp 100's. Two of the shots exited through the deers shoulders', with no damage to the blades/head whatsoever. All 4 deer dropped within sight.

As i've said numerous times, I am a big fan of mechanical heads. The key is not buying ones with an overly wide cutting diameter. I wouldn't buy any with over a 1.5" cutting diameter, since they will not penetrate as well as smaller diameter mechanicals. I also feel like the longer blades have more of a chance of breaking.

Watched Jay Gregory shoot a turkey at 10 yards out of a DB blind the other day.

Arrow went in 3 inches and bounced (seriously) back out.  It didn't fall out.   Wonder what they'd do to a cape buffalo?  He may come up and give you a kiss.    Get yer gun ready.

Sorry fellas, those Rage just aren't for me.
