Texas rigging soft plastics

This is a pretty straight forward thread:  What size hooks and weights does everyone prefer when they are texas rigging tubes/craws etc.  I generally use 1/4 or 1/8 oz weights but i sometimes feel like they arent nearly enough in faster current.  They seem like the right weights for lakes though.
