New Use for a Thingamabobber!!!

This is just one little idea I came up with recently.  Since I am an official member of the Old Farts Society and my eye sight is not as it once was, I have used this to make it easier to get ready the next time I go fishing.  Once I clean my gear and reel and make sure my leader is good, I place a Thingamabobber on the end of the tippet. This way the next time out I do not have to spend much time looking for the end of my leader on my reel.

    That's a good idea. When I string up my rods they stay strung up for the season. If you travel a lot to fish and take the reel off , thingamabobber would work well for keeping your tippet end accessible. Bread wrapper twist ties work well also and are great for keeping your rod sections bound together for storage.
     
    I Have two Lite speeds, a 4" and a 3 3/4" for steelhead fishing and really like them.
