hows the erie sports show??

is the erie sports show any good? im always there the week befor or the week after. i mite plan to head up that weekend. as long as it better than the monroville show which to me isnt worth crap.

    IMO dont waste your time. For the most part its an over priced flee market with lousy parking.

    I will second the above post , I havent been to one in a very long time. Was disappointed  the last one I attended. Which was , well I dont remember that far back.

    Any "good" flea market/expo/sports shows to go to and get good deals on used equipment?

    I've been to the Monroeville show, and even though I don't think it is a very good show, it's much better than what the Erie show is now. I'd like to see it go back to what it was in the early 1980's. Just my opinion.

    To clarify me saying "flee market" I mean like theres a guy selling socks, another guy selling jerky, and another selling fudge, another selling boots and jackets, a crazy guy with animals for a kids show, a few local shops selling some older inventory of baits and equiptment that every one already has... it seems everything thats there would be classified as an "impulse" buy, and nothign new and earth shattering is ever unvailed at show anymore.
     
    Yes there are a few vendors that are ok. I will not waste my time and money at that show again.

    WOW. if its worse than the monroville show, it has to be really really bad. thanks for the info guys. as nice as erie is and the show being so close to the best fishery ever, i figured it would be worth it. i defenetly wont be going.
