Good luck Alex. And may the Spirit of the Lord guide your walk. Take dry flies for the croc's; I heard they really hit on the surface.

Hope it's a good and effective trip... I used to be a youth leader and took several work trips with the group, it was great to see them working and growing as individuals. As adults now they will seek me out and shake my hand still, nice to know you made a difference in peoples lives...

Well just got back...speechlesss. Didn't do any fishing for feesh, but plenty of fishing for people :) God was certainly at work.
The people of Uganda are strong-we are a bunch of whiners. Saw some crazy and amazing stuff.
Took a boat ride down the Nile river-wow! Next time i go im definitely bringing a rod! Their perch get a little bigger than ours!
Thank you so much for the well wishes and prayers, they made a difference. I will post some pics soon.

Both my son and daughter have gone to a couple of poverty stricken countries and saw with their own eyes the conditions the people had been born into. It broke their hearts to see children picking through the sewers,dumps outside the city's to try and find enough food to share with their family . In our house we support mission work and the feeding centers that are established through the church.

Glad you're safely back Fisher! If I saw your post much earlier, I would have mentioned to check with your Doc for any recommended immunizations. Better yet, check with an Infectious Diseases Doc as they are more on top of stuff like that. That's quite admirable work you're doing, donating your time to help others that are far off less fortunate than many Americans are. Good for you!!! Can't wait to see the pictures and once again, GREAT JOB!

Yeah i got lots of vaccinations beforehand as well as took malaria meds while we were there :(
But no one got sick so it paid off.
