An east side trib

Spent Saturday and Sunday on an east side tributary. Sometime I doubt those inflated counts on posts. But now I understand. Three of us hooked up so many times we lost count. There was a period we were hooking up every cast. Landed quite a few. Had to be over a hundred fish in this hole. Some were fresh! Best day by far in my 7 years of Steel hunting.

    I'd have to guess 11 mile or 13 mile...both have been H O T.

Congrats on the epic day joedv. Nice to have them once in awhile. Which ever trib you fished , really doesnt matter as long as you enjoyed it then thats what counts.

Spent Sat/Sun at walnut and saw 5 caught, sucks not being too familiar with the streams aside from the major 2... I will be better prepared next year... The weather was too nice to deny a trip up but the girlfriend and I got skunked...

Released all but four. My 82 year old father loves them, and is an old school no fish on Friday guy. This will feed him for a lot of Fridays to come. I kept 2 and my buddy kept 2. Wish we would've hook a brownie. Maybe we did as some of the hook ups weren't seen. Oh well wish in one hand, and poop in the other.........

My other buddy tied up a bunch of white minnow patterns with some gold angel hair in it. They were tearing it to shreds. So much for the light winter bite.
