ABSOLUTELY POURED for about 2 hours.    Then a  few on and off   moderate showers with lite rain between.    Supposed to be  decent tomorrow and really nice Sunday.   It is still too wet to do any real work on the yard.    I need to get a good jump on  my wood as I do not know my status for the summer

River at Pineville is way up, too.  No trip north this week, for FL or LO I'll have to flip in the AM.

OK so its at 761 this morning from a start of 555 yesterday.
Dropped to under 400 by noon then started up with the downpour.
No rain and I may stop for a couple minutes after work around three hoping for 500 and 3 or 4 inches of vis.
They could locate a sac in some pretty thick water yesterday.
Course you had to be in the exact spots to get a slooooooow drift in the holding areas to get bit.

It's sleeting and 38 here.  River seems to have leveled, but the tribs up north are off the chart.

Well it didn't drop as I'd hoped.
Inch or two vis.
Shared a spot with a 6 or 7 year old girl and her dad for about 20 minutes.
Tough little cookie to stick it out that long with 20 mph winds and 40 degrees.

I missed two bites.
The first rip it mashed the bag but never touched him.
The second one rolled up to the surface and came off.
Then it was off  to do some run around chores.

I'm foolish enough to try again for a few minutes tomorrow after work

Steady rain, but still ok temp wise.  They raised it to 1600 so we will see what Wed or Thurs brings.   I have a spot that will work possibly

WTF  70 on monday and then back to a high of 45 on Tuesday.  This cold weather will NOT let go.   No real rain in the future.  Maybe they will drop it a bit.......    Not too much just a bit

Gonna rain tomorrow.  They are going to raise it up to 3k tomorrow.   Water temp is up to 40.   I got a feeling they are going to get flushed back and the best fishing is behind us.  If it ever gets below 2 k I will try.   I know there are a few spots around and the other guages are coming down, but who knows after tomorrow.  Les see what the weekend brings

It was supposed to go to 750 tonight, but that was a pipe dream.   They are keeping it at 1800.  Started raining  at 1pm.    Usually a bit  more than a sprinkle but nothing really heavy.

This system coming up the Eastern seaboard is supposed to drop 2-4 inches of rain tonight through tomorrow.  Should blow everything out for the next week or so.  The only saving grace may be that the trees are starting to pop.

HT- The feed bag will be back on once this system passes.
Can't say much for the Turkey Season opener other than it'll be wet out there.

So far it's been south east of us for the most part. People are out fishing while I'm spreading mud on the walls.
Lets hope the might Hudson weathers the storm

Been pounding the local streams pretty hard for trout lately- waters were going down in the past few days despite a wet month-- some rain today- OK with me.
Hoping for the SR next week- hope its not too late.

Wind has died down a bit, but man is it raining off and on pretty good.   Starting to get some standing water in the driveway.   Any chances of mid may fishing a dwindling.    Luckily have a trip planned for Oneida this weekend so all is not lost
