Preparing Steelhead Skein to Fish With?

How do I prepare Fish Skein to fish with? Do you just wrap it up in those little eggsack bags like we get at Poor Richards? Or do you treat it somehow so it doesnt fall apart? It seems liek it would be killer bait for stream steelhead.

Cut it into useable size pieces and put it in a zip lock and freeze it..

Use a commercial egg cure...easy and works pretty well.

Follow the Fishing Goddess's rules and you won't be disappointed. It's a little time consuming but this cure rules. I've been curing eggs for over 25 years and these ones I did this year are far the best ever. Also works great on salmon roe.
