    Black steelhead hammer   AKA black estaz stone fly.    Thought about keeping as she had a line down her gullet and the other gill plate was damaged.    I snipped the line off inside her mouth and she revived OK so off she went.   Rained, snowed, hailed and the sun even came out for a split second.   Crowds were still pretty fierce in town as I went to the LFZ first and decided it was not worth it.  Was rewarded at this spot with no one in sight after a short hike.    I have to think about tomorrow as things may be looking good for a little trip.
     
    Picked up a new pair of cheap stocking foot neos at Pineville.   Wanted to get the Frogg Togg ones, but the larges were too tight and the XLs were too long.   Went with a pair of Allens.   Dale was great, let me try on like 4 pairs.  Best part is their price was a few $$$ cheaper than online.   Got a little sweaty walking today, but they are much warmer than the breathable ones AND my foot did not get wet.  Plenty of room for 2 pairs of wool socks if I don't  tighten up the buckles of the boots super tight.
