Polarized Glasses....???
I received a new pair of Smith Glasses for X-Mas.. they are the Guides Choice w/ the photochromatic lens, copper in color. They seem fine as I tried them in a local stream but the damm things make me look like a welder, or world war 1 pilot, as in man are they big.... I plan on returning them via the gift certificate I received. Anyone have any recomendations for a replacement ...I checked out Costa Del Mar, and Oakley..what I need is a pair for smaller to medium size face, any recomendations ??? whishing everyone a Happy New Year!

Check out an eddie bauer store. I've bought my glasses from them and at $60.00, their good quality and have a good scratch protection to them.

I use Oakley Half-Jackets and absolutely love them. You have the option of buying different lenses and changing them out according to conditions if necessary.

Go local so you can try them on before buying. My favorite way of buying them is at a store near a stream that will let you go out and look into the water. Next best is a rack full of glasses that you can check out 'til you find your favorite pair.

Dano, If you can't find what you want in Erie, you might want to contact a frame manufacturer directly. I did that with Smith Optics. I bought a frame from them and amber bi-focal curved lenses from them also.

Costas are the best out there.... If you like the smaller, lower profile glasses than go with the ladies series. I bought a pair a few years ago and the look fine and fit well, but they do clash with my waders...lol
