tues skuckage part deux

i'm sure you all remember me babbling about getting skunked last week and how i was going to make them pay this week.
well as it turned out it was a skunk day all over again.
but this time it was their turn to taste the skunk.

    the only one that didn't go balls to the walls bat ship crazy was this 5 lb ish guy.
    i think the lamprey took sonething out of him.
    sorry for the quility of pics but my battery was dying.
    i didn't get pics of about the same numbers.

    Paid the piper, did they?    If you wanna dance off with  someone's flies you gotta pay. Good!  That's a  great  day, especially lately.  I like when they come ashore with lamprey still  attached. I  remove them and put the cleats to them until they look like lamprey jam.

    Great job Bob way to give them a taste of their own skunkage! The green butt works well as does it tied in yellow. Great pics also, love me some fish porn.

    tired yesterday so i just hit the high points.
    where i was i fished with 3 others in sight till around 10am.
    the 2 guys about 50 yards below me fishing long line mostly high stick nympthing.
    1 hit 6 or 7 i believe landing 1 and his partner fishing the same hit at least 2 landing 1.
    that was the only 1 i saw stringered.
     
    the fella 25 yaeds upstream was bobberfly fishing and had about a half sozen on landing 2.
    it was a really special day.
    arbout 10 am 4 bobber fishers and a fly guy water starer,just fish for cripe sakes,showed i think because the guys downstream kept following there fish out of my sight and prolly into those others.
    i had come for redemption so was fishing my #8 and 10# test so i stood toe to toe and landed them pretty much where i hooked them.

    Those are some great players twobob.. Many more pic's then I took of stupid fish when I got the chance..  Truth is I got smoked more then I wish to admit and the fish won both in photos , flies and tippet..
    It's the good times we always cherish on the water and those we can share. It's the funky times that make us wonder why we go back..
