Here is the low down on my short trip today.   I slept in and got to Pineville at 8.  Fished the bridge to Trout brook and back.  Fished sac's float on the way down bottom bounce on the way back.  Had a hit each way one was an on and off and the second was a longer tussle, but the result was the same.   The one I fought was a smaller fish 4 to 5 lbs, but was bright silver and had a few jumps in it.    Saw a few moldy kings milling around that's it.   Crowds were small and thinned out.   Drove through town to run  errands and crowds were a bit heavier there, but nothing like last weekend and there was room to fish were ever you went.   Did see 2 drift boats today.   Was pretty windy too, glad I opted for the spin.
Salmon run is all but done although I am sure there will be some Ho's milling around for a while.
Went to Pineville shop to shoot the breeze with Ricky and look at reels.   He said that everyone was having a tough time of it and the steel were strung out.  Tried a Cortland Sterling and really liked it alot.  Was balanced well to my pole, drag knob was large and easy to turn and was smooth.   A bit more money so I am going to wait  a week or so and probably get it.

Charlie, I forgot what kind of car you drive as I was going to look around for you today, let me know here or in PM if you want.
