Good job Hock,  those are some nice bass.  Where did you end up launching from,  P.I. or Northeast? (I think I see P.I. in your 3rd pic).  If you don't mind sharing, what was your hot lure/bait and water depth range?
    Thanks,
    Jerry

    Hock,
I graciously answer all your questions on my smallie thread but you can't give any type of response to my inquiries.  Whats up with that?

Nice! Might have to make a trip up Wednesday morning if the wind isn't too bad.

Yea.  I tend to be a slow learner though.  Not sure what his last post meant but I have not received any reply whatsoever.  Live and learn.

Jerry..we ended up launching at lampe due to there being hardly a foot of water at the East St. ramp. We ended up near Shades Beach in 16-26ft. of water. The fish were scattered but tightly grouped, if you caught one you almost for sure caught another soon there after. As far as a lure goes ... smoke colored tube. God bless, hock!! P.S. I don't work that way folks..I would not take info and not give back.

    Hock,
    Thanks for the info.

It's a shame the new launch at Shades was not properly installed.  I fished that stretch alot back in the 80's and early 90's when all they had was a washed out dirt road, single launch and concrete pier.  Shorewood (about 2 miles east of Shades) also had a primitive launch.
