local trout runs

if any one wants some action on local runs check your local trout lake .  went to a nearby park and walked up the creek caught more trout in an hour than i did all year, all released all brook trout.  this paticular stream is usually full of rainbows by mid oct. brookies were a nice suprise. nothing  big but if you have a stocked lake near you look upstream. good luck

Good tip. Last week I saw a bunch of browns staged below the first riffles of the lakes feeder stream. They are all gone now however. Must be done spawning already? Or maybe they went upstream, but I doubt it. (sw pa)

    Good Tip!
