Stocking

Saw the DEC stocking a local trib from the road  they had the pen set up  . Stopped and watched from the road for a minute and  wanted to stop and ask if I could watch, but had fish fever. 
??? is what would they be stocking now.  I thought trout were in the spring

Orwell  creek  in the farmers field where where it crosses  Bridge st right out of town.

I heard the same charlie... as i was releasing a ripe hen down low last night i thought to myself they should put an emergency one female limit per day to help get them up there because it is mostly males up above the route fifty two bridge and hatchery from what ive seen

Sounds like typical males. Always ready to go
