Yellow Poly Rope
 
Now a yellow poly rope is mighty handy
For roping up steelhead, suckers or pulling ice shanties
And you wear pink women panties
If you prefer stainless steel
A polypropylene rope is cheap and indestructible
Its UV safe and mildew resistible
I never seen one that’s decomposable
That’s why I keep one in my creel!
I think you are so sensational
I can coil you up, being you’re so compactable
And when needed you’re so strong and flexible
Slipping through those gills
1, 2, 3 steelhead it doesn’t matter to me
You’re bright yellow makes you more flattery
Not like chain so darn clattery
That gives me chills
Now I’ve seen you in green and I’ve seen you in blue
But for me no other color will do
Because you’re my Buster Brown shoe
You’re just so compatible
You’re fibers are limber and braided so cute
You hang fashionably from my wader belt loop
Or when taking hero shots within my group
Your strength is so incomparable
Yellow poly rope you’re a life saver in deed
You’re always with me in case in need
Like when we towed that car out, during the December freeze
Who would of ever knew?
I had left my net in a successful fishing spot
Forgot my rod in a crowded parking lot
But you, yellow rope, I never forgot
Yellow rope, I salute you~
