Any chance the reservoir will flood?

How much rainfall is needed to crest that reservoir? I know most reservoirs are down in central ny. I really never seen much of the one the feeds the SR.. is it close to full pool yet?

    Not even close and IMO will not be close to full for some time to come.  You would need an event  like in around 1980 or so when there was 8 foot of snow on the ground in January and it POURED for a week.  My dad who worked for Nimo at the time said they had everything wide open and they feared the dam would let go.  Water was OVER the short bridge in Pulaski and half way up the hill to Dunkin.  This event was not even close to the one in 2010 and that was a pretty good one.

    I don't know about flooding but if there is no big rain event this fall/winter it could shut down more than now.

    Yep, I have not been up there in about 2 weeks but I only remember it being lower 1 or 2 other times.  Last time we got got over an inch of rain I went up a week later and it was lower than before.  Ground is sucking in the water and holding it.  Evap was taking care of alot too.  Also the res does not really flood it's the river.

      Shared your 8 wt frustrations on some nice fish this week- Kinda went back to the 10 again (only for a bit though). FEISTY and good sizes too.

    after the rains.
    it takes a while for some of the water to get there but this is still awfully low.

    yea, thats taken by jackson hole launch and should be under 8 foot or so.
