DSR just reported they got a call from the low end of the run that a solid push of fish just entered with coho in the mix. With some rain maybe hitting tomorrow the mid week could be very interesting.

You may be right hook... gonna be wet the next few days and the wind is picking up...add that up with how eager these fish have been to run...we may get a good one here...and thank god its happening during the week...it'll give em a chance to get up river with out too much interference...and maybe if we're lucky pafisher wont cancel his trips...lol

Sounds like your prediction of a week or two ago was just about spot on Andy.
Hope those new guys who have been writing for advice and info dont think this is the beginning of the end and fail to realize its just the beginning of the beginning. lol.

As said , some fish did go through estuary today. A lot more after I left at 3pm ? I couldn't say but will say this : Water is WAY to warm .. I found 72 in sun and 70 in shade.
Need a cold rain ..

Tuna- couldnt agree more- guys last week saying they saw more dead than alive. Sounded like you had some deads in the esturary too. BTW- gotta wonder ?? Was the reported evening RUN a run or a PUSH. We all have differing views of such things, Mine is a RUN is huge with at least a thousand fish - pods coming pretty much constantly over an extended time- a push IMHO is a hundred or two . Some guys -especially early on - call lots of things a RUN. Different stokes for different folks. Nonetheless it seems to be starting.

it would be nice if the rain we're going to get here in central pa was going to fall up there....they're calling for a couple inches today and rain for the next week

I just looked at the weather for Pulaski,looks like they're going to get some today and then a shower or two for the next week,doubt if that is going to help much.
Is anyone else experiencing a slow upload on this site,it's taking forever for me to log on,go to posts,etc. ?I'm not having any of this on other sites.

Pa I have a friend there now saying no rain yet but he's having a heck of day. He's been into fish from the moment he got there this morning and says small spurts of fish just keep coming. The water did cool a few degrees. Also yeah my upload of this site is butt dragging also.

Cohookhead,is your friend in the DSR?The fish are going to come,they'll run 185 alright,but come the 15th we'll know if it stays at that level.If there are no heavy rain events they could drop it to 100.At any rate anything under 300 is too low to me,I like water for those big fish to swim and fight in.I'm really in a sour mood about this,wait all year to fish for these fish and this happens,still have n't cancelled but I've been there when this happened before and did n't enjoy it.

Yeah he is in the upper dsr (lower black), said its fish moving all the way down thru, so I can imagine they are moving into the village a little by now. I know the flow ain't great but there's actually more water still in the river now than there was in 2007 and they still ran it even though it was like 74 degrees then also. Long range weather has more rain in it after this week, it'll work out.

Very slow loading and a server error too. No rain yet at all, not even a drop. I am going to go up Thurs or Fri after work.

sounds great 8 more days and i will be there im also haveing a slow time loading the site none of the others are slow lets hope the rain will cool the water a little i may not eat those fish but i like the fight looks like i go down to 8# test and my 6/7 rod for next week hope they will still be there and not head back out

if its the same as started here in rochester about noon and was moving that way its still pouring most of the time with steady rains in between.
must be a couple of inches so far.
ponding some places on the roads was over a foot deep after the first hour.
hope it keeps it up at night there so its cooler.

I wont be able to get in the water til thursday. But I'll have a cup of coffee before I leave for work and see if there are any fish behind my house tomorrow morning.
