New OSWEGO Rules

IF you are planning a trip to the Oswego this fall, bring your PFD.  They are now required for a number of areas along the river after the drownings last year.  Check out NY Outdoor News for more detail (current issue ( I know its a bad pun, but I couldn't resist.))

    There have been arrests already, and thats what will happen. You will be arrested for trespassing without a PFD.   I do not go there often but  I usually wear one there anyway so no big deal.  The water comes up fast and furious there.

    is that from the walls or when your in the water (not the center wall)

    There are certain areas where.  On the wall is not one of them.  There is a nice thread on SC about it.
