Tending the rods

Got out today trollin with a real good duud. I was glad I got the chance to go. He brought along his fishin buddy to help out, Ziggy

Ziggy watched things for us while we were trollin around. He did real good all day.

WHAT !!!     I CAN DO THIS !!!

He made sure we were paying attention.

Had a great time , as always , fishing with Bogeyjoker today. Mainly we were after walleyes but had a mixed bag of fish all day long. We managed to box 3 walleye , 1 slimer and a few perch to end the day.  Along the day we threw back 5 slimers , 4 Brownies , and a few sheepers and silver bass. Action all day long and had a blast.
We were after the eyes mostly but couldnt have had a better time with the mixed bad of fish today. Thanks Todd for the invite , as always , and Ill go at the drop of a dime if I dont have prior commitments.

A couple of feesh pics..........

13.4 lbs     31.24"

FOOTBALL !!! didnt get a weight on this one but had to have been around 12lbs easy

AGAIN  ,  Thank you for having me aboard and cant wait to go again.

    deetz,
That's what the boga said.  I've never gotten a certified 10 so when they look close we weigh them. Someday I'll get the 10 but next on my list will be a 12+ steelie like the monsters you and bogey are holdin.

Is the powder blue shirts mandatory on Bogeys boat? Or did you take turns wearing it for the photo opp.?

The dog's name is Sigmund...Sig or Siggy for short.  Deetz had a hard time hearing me through the whistling wind and screaming drags.

Yeah, he called me at 6am asking me what I was wearing.  I thought that was strange, but I told him my powder blue flats shirt and navy fast-dri river shorts.  When he showed up at 6:45 I understood that he just wanted to be fashionable and match out on the water.  We got a lot of long looks and thumbs up from other boats out there...they must've thought we looked really sharp out there.

Doubtful.  We caught too many and the ones we didn't catch had white flags and were hightailing it to Canada.

We didn't weigh any of the browns, but the biggest was probably 7#.  Friday we caught 2 over 8#.

Unless you have a blue shirt , you aint allowed on board. I guess

Seriously it was just coincidence. I had on the tan long sleeve that morning untill my dog decided to jump up and spill my coffee all down the front of me. So I changed to the blue. Funny how things work out sometimes.  Had to make another cup and took it with me to the marina.
