fishing report- Aug 20 &21

Report-- ZIP
Saw ONE swim under the estuary bridge yesterday--ONE- in about an hour of standing there watchin.
Heard a handful came itno DSR but just half dozen or so. Very few if any other guys seen on the river. No reports of hookups from anybody I spoke to in shops or on the river.
Water is so low ya dont even need dark glasses to see bank to bank.
Hey- this is maybee the first August I havent hooked up in a while but the month aint over yet.  May not get back for a few weeks.. They are comin but perhaps a bit later than sooner in any real numbers.
Even a fair pod or two way down low doesnt mean any kind of decent fishing further up- specially in this weather when they could hang a few days in large pools or turn and return.
  good luck - its comin..
Few nice Browns hanging in the Hatchery.

Rt is that an observation or fishing report ?
I'll wait for cool clear waters before I poach my salmon.
Coming up in a week in hopes of some phat warm water ( toothy) critters lurking.

Gonna be throwing scum frogs, buzz baits and Johnson spoons. Size 4/0 hook. Tell me I'm wrong , calls me a snagger.

DSR just reported a push of about 50-70 fish in the last hour of the day today. The reporter said he hooked up on a few but couldn't hold them. Also two kings were landed today along with a 12 pound brown. Poor conditions or not its happening anyway.
