It has been running at 250 for most of the summer.  They bumped it up to 750 this weekend.   I may head up this week to see if it brought anything up.   The 21 and  22  is another 750 weekend.   Not much from what I hear going on, but there are plenty of bass to play with here and there.

I checked the hatchery today... there were around 8 fish in the 5-8 lb. Range, and
Many others in the 3ish lb. Range.... thinking it was a mixxee bag of atlantics and browns. Spoke to a guy from thatchery who was also observing the fish in the ladder. He seemed quite impressed with the amount of fish for early july. Supposedly a few are poking around the upper fly zone... saw cars in both parking area for ufz on both saturday and today. Btw, the town wall is just about completed. Its pretty nice. They made a a jetty to brake the current from wearing aganist the wall in which anglers can stand on. It pushed the current out quite a ways. Im thinking its gonna fix the bend pool down below with the current change. Also, theres some nice back eddy riffles above the jetty which should make for some nice brown trout lies come late fall.

Sarge, have fun when you head up on the 20th. Sorry for the hijack and info overload

Go to the SC site for pictures of the wall.It is a thread called "stairway to heaven" under general discussion. They did a great job with it,but I doubt I'll ever fish there.
