Popper Perch

Never caught a perch on a popper before--this one hit it right at the shore. 
You guys get perch very often on poppers?

i was fishing pond recently that is mostly covered by thick lily pads.  i was using a zoom speed craw and just pulling it along top of the lily pads trying to catch bass.  all the sudden i had a fish nail the lure, i thought it was a nice bass but it turned out to be a huge perch, probably the biggest one i've ever caught.  i would have never thought that a perch would hit a bass lure like that.

I've caught 'em too on poppers, and minnow patterns while fishing for bass. This past spring, I got two crappies on a deer hair mouse.

There's no rules.

never got a perch, but did catch a nice crappie on a torpedo once.
