Went up tonight with a few friends up from Florida. When I got up there, there was a huge family of what looked like Chinese folks up there. Kids of all ages some in the water swimming. With all the hooks bad idea in my book. The folks fishing had no clue what they were doing. one guy had like a 3/8 oz sinker hanging below the hook. We went downstream and fished a bit and when we came back they were gone. Here is the report on the catch for 3 guys:
Golden and regular shiners and a sucker
12 bass nothing larger than 12 inches most in the 4 to 8 inch range
1 small brown
1 sunfish yes sunfish
2 Juvenile kings 6 or 7 inches long. (They had spots on their tails so I am assuming kings)
1 crayfish
Nothing big, but a good time none the less. Sorry no pictures today.
Sad to say I looked in my backpack today and I think I lost a small tray of hooks and flies last time I was up there. The biggest loss was a few streamers I had tied and the Articulated ones Gerry had tied for the swap. I looked today, but no dice ( Dime they are probably long gone, but if you find them......)
