You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Got'er figgered out..... Just wondered how many of you fellow fishermen would admit to using "Ice Fishing Jigs " in the summer time? Some jigs I use year around. Although we think of them as "Ice Jigs" I've caught lots of fish on them. Who besides me has had some success on Hali, Lindy Slick Jig, Jigging Shad Rap or Buck-Shot Spoons? Hali's are quite deadly on summertime Perch. If so, what have you caught and on what?

A lot of guys on the NW Boards have talked about using Micro Jigs for Crappie and they have done very well with them.

I too use them all throughout the year. I've even been known to take the ice rods out in the boat with me when vertically jigging. Just waaaay to much fun catching bruiser gills on those small rods

I use ants and all other kinds of ice jigs under a float for gills in the summer. I even use them for trout in the creeks in the spring. A jig is a jig, no mattter when you use it.

Agree with using home-made ice fishn' poles out on the boat for pearch. Thats the way my dad taught me 50 years ago and I still do it. Can't beat the feel of the line ripping through your hands as your pulling up a pearch from 50 feet.

I use my ice jigs all the time during the year. Use them for trout, bluegills and crappie.

My nephew uses Jiggin Raps and an ice rod all summer for vertical fishing. He wears schooling fish out faster than anything I have ever seen.

I too use different adaptations for subglacial fishing. the thin drill no more than 5 inches especially well approaches. what not to frighten off a trout.

Lot of guy Tune Up Ice Fishing Equipments In the Summertime. They like to do the ice fishing with their equipments like flasher (Marcum LX-5) and strikemaster auger. They charge up the battery for their LX-5 and fire up the Strikemaster auger for just checking them out. They focus on the flasher and auger. Cabo Fishing | Panama Fishing | Costa Rica Fishing

I've used Jiggin' Raps for a long time. Vertical jig them and have decent success with Walleyes and Perch.
