Smallmouth

Well it's June now, the weather seems to be staying nice and the water temperature is starting to warm up.

At what point do you start getting ready to chase the smallmouth?  Who else is as excited as I am?

Also been chasing them for a while, about 2 months. Unfortunately most of them are alluding me! From what I've recently learned, April is the best month for the beasts in PA. Used to be May for me. Gotta learn to deal with crap weather and fish in the rain and cold I guess.

Is that a Hellgramite in his mouth or a black bugger?
