I really wish PA would offer a Lifetime license for hunting & fishing like West Virginia

I'd much rather have a credit card sized permanent license to carry around

When you buy your life time senior fishing license you will have that option to have a plastic card to carry in your wallet !!

In the Greensburg area only 1 out of 5 sellers had the reg. books avail now. That was Woodlands Edge, the others claimed that due to prob.with the printer they would not have them til next week.If you are going to drive anywhere for them I would call ahead.   sam

Seeing that I'm 26...I'd much rather buy a lifetime and be done with it vs going through the same BS every year

Notice that some other states are re-thinking the reduced fee for life-time licenses & raising the age for them. They are finding out that they are losing income from them now that the life expectency is rising for most people.Kansas is the latest to consider this. They ,like us,recieve most of thier money from license sales & not the state budget.  sam

Mr crappie has hit on a great point..

as the "baby boomers" hit 65 and start buying lifetime licenses the yearly income from license sales will fall for senior sales

that's the main reason I have decided to NOT buy a senior lifetime hunting license, I can still afford the yearly price for a hunting license so will continue to do that for the hunting license..

I did get a lifetime fishing though

and have sold about a dozen lifetime or lifetime combos hunting license already this year plus about 6 guys renewed their lifetime hunting license to get their 2012 tags.....

I look to start really selling licenses next week with the doe license lottery on july 9th just around the corner.......
