Camera Vandals

These bastids ripped the Cuddeback off the tree and destroyed the mounting bracket last week.  With around 5 months to hunt them this year, they should fear me

They seem to be atrracted to your cameras.

If you leave them out during the season are they then considered "bait?"

Everything I say can be fully substantiated by my own opinion.

I know the feeling. Cleaned up trash and repaired the bin a few times thanks to a few bears. It's funny watching them trying to hide behind a small tree with 99% of their big arse sticking out.

Last Tuesday, the PGC stole that bear trap back from my parents yard which caught the bear along 908 on Friday!!

About 2 weeks ago, fairly late at night, a cub broke down my parents garage door.  A 2 hour standoff with the cops ensued as the 300# momma bear would not leave her cub or allow anyone to get near the house since the cub was still in the garage.  The PGC came out a few days later to set the trap in their yard, with no success.  I would assume that they will be bringing the trap back down there again this week.  While this wasn't not too far from where the one was caught, I still don't believe that the bear caught was the same one as the one who broke into my parents house, nor is it the one shown in this picture.

I came back to my truck after hunting this morning to find muddy paw prints all over the side and windows. He must have smelled something he liked.
