inflatible pontoon

does any one know can you use a inflatible pontoon boat on the salmon river and if so do you need to be reg. with a N.Y. reg. or will they honor a pa. reg. thanks.

    yes you can, no motor no need to reg.

    Gad is 100% regarding your experience. It can be a very dangerous river. I have a 2 man pontoon myself. My trial run with it was in the summer during a scheduled dam release of 750 cfs. I don't reccomend trying it out for the first time during the peak of spring steelhead. You may put yourself or someone else in danger. I reccomend trying it first during a dam release in the summer.
