Car Break-Ins Tresle Pool South

Just got back from the weekend. As we were driving to Pineville saw a couple of troopers in the Trestle Pool South lot? After checking into the Steelhead Lodge four fisherman
from PA pulled in advised their car was broken into and all gear taken! Sounds like this has been a problem in the area?
Maybe time to get the "Bait Car" TV series to set up shop in Pulaski.
Would love to see these "Pieces of Trash" caught in the act.

Any way what a beautiful weekend to be in Pulaski. Sure Beats 5 below and shelf ice about three years ago? River was a bit high, but saw plenty of fish in the tribs.
Hatchery Chute is LOADED with some Big rainbows.

Just a heads up on the crooks. Police NEED a witness who has good info- -a dark car with 2 guys in it gets nobody anyplace- GET THAT marker number and a car description-and give your freakin name as a witness too- amazed at how often there is a misuse goin on with the plates with these guys.
ALsO anybody sein suspicious acivity get the same info and call the pd RIGHT AWAY later on does NOT help much- they will move from lot to lot and likely still be around if the cops can get in the area -GOOD.
Ya would be surprised at how often these common crimes that occur from year to year up there are being done by the same coupla guys right along. Even a simple seein somebody walking a line of cars 'scopin them out'- THATS probably a crook looking for stuff. Call him in. - cant hurt and it may even be YOUR OWN stuff that gets saved.
Coupla guys just sittin in a car in the lot while you get ready and walk off are good bets for crooks too- just waitin for the coast to clear- Take down the number - then when ya get outa sight wait a moment and walk back- you may get sooprised and become a local legend on the forum for bein the guy who caused the guys to get caught rippin off the other guys.

That's a shame to hear. I hope those scum bags get caught and good advice RT. yeah, the water is ripping but it is normal flow for this time of year. The only difference is that this is the last of the snow melt that is gone. We most likely wont see any water higher than this at this point. And if that's the case it will be quite an interesting drop back season.

Rich, glad to hear you enjoyed yourself

Rippin cold water is just what the Dr ordered to keep the regular spawn times on schedule. Even a burst of a coupla days will keep the river a bit colder for a while. Should also get the lake fish fired up to come in.

NEVER leave spare rods or gear in the Veh. where a wacko can see it. Behind the seat on the truck or in the trunk or - DONT BRING IT.
