float trip

Can anyone give me some info on a good float trip My pastor wants to go on one. I am a wadder mostly stay in one spot) and have fished the river for a couple of years(17) never went on a float (or for that matter never had a desire to go) but he wants to. He wants to mount a steelhead for his collection. Can anyone steer me in the right direction. (I would like to float once and then take him wadding and show him the difference)

What kind of fishing fly or spin?? I have hears good things about Shane, Randy from Yankee Angler, Salmon river Troutfitters (fly fishing) and of course if you PM'd Hot Tuna I sure he would not steer you wrong. I have not used any of them, but have heard good things from people that have.

On Saturday, we saw Troy Creasy, or his boat, but at the distance I was at it could have been Troy rowing. Troy has been on the river a long time and knows the ropes as well as anyone. He and a couple of other boats were down below 2a, they either made a really long day of it or put in at Pineville or the Compactor. Troy has also paid a lot of dues in working with DEC and the other orgs for improvement of the fishery, river and lake, and if I were going to take a ride, I'd definitely think of going with him.

Wow, unbelievable, or at this point highly believable. She sure will deserve what she gets.

Im sure fish on will do you just fine. I stayed there for years but never used the guide services. Is he guaranteeing you fish or your money back?

    Good luck and have fun

Sarge... mike is a good guy. I stayed there for years and he always was a down to earth straight shooter. Lower river should be a good choice
