Spring Fishing

Hello all. Happy belated holidays and new year to you all. I was wondering what the weather and fishing are like around the second week of May. What kind of fish in the river will be hitting then? Will Redfield still be snow covered at that time? Any info. is appreciated as usual. Thanks.

    Thats a bit late Trobe but there is still a Steel or two left in the river then barring weather being too warm or water levels too low. They have generally finished spawning by then and are booking for the lake again but a few stragglers sometimes hang out till bout the third week - with work one can sometimes find them.
